Unmatched by any 3D application in the industry, AutoSolids
maintains 100% native AutoCAD .dwg format. AutoSolids models
NEVER have to be converted, exported,
exploded, etc. to be used by AutoCAD users, with or without
AutoSolids. Models created
with AutoSolids are always stored as native AutoCAD solids but with
their construction history attached.
Standard AutoCAD users
can access the geometry of AutoSolids models for use with the standard
AutoCAD commands, but AutoSolids users gain access to the
construction history, allowing
the solid to be easily edited.

The
difference? |
|
Minutes
to create and change
instead of hours! |
Existing AutoCAD solids can
also be used with AutoSolids, with nearly every AutoSolids
command(QuickDraw, union, fillet, slice, section, etc.) being available
for use, the only limitation being that native AutoCAD solids have no
construction history available for editing.
Any new operations(union, fillet, slice, etc.), however, performed while AutoSolids is
loaded, will be captured and available for later editing.
This 100% AutoCAD
compatibility has enormous
significance, meaning that NONE of your existing AutoCAD files will have to be
converted for use, and your new files will NEVER have to be converted for
the standard AutoCAD user. And for communicating with the non-AutoCAD user, all of the
standard AutoCAD import/export methods (ACIS, IGES, STL, etc.) treat
AutoSolids models exactly the same as native AutoCAD models.
AutoSolids is available
now for AutoCAD R14.01 thru 2008 and their respective vertical market
products. |
